malawi or taniakan or mbuana?

Post by furry_catfish on Mon Feb 15, 2010 11:45 pm

Hello everyone [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] I have a 42 gallon tank,I was going to do a comunity tank (still might) but my tap water is a ph of 8 so It would be a bit easier to get an African cichlid tank which would need a higher ph but that can be solved with the rocks you usealy find in an old world cichlid tank, can't it?any way my point is.What mbuana, malawi or taniakan community can I have in a 42 gallon?

thanks [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Nice thumbup We were going to do a cichlid tank. Netty wanted Pseudotropheus demasoni and Labidochromis Caeruleus. With the Labs, being a completely different colour to the Demasoni, they sjould be left alone.
Both are Malawis.

You could also have some type of Syno catfish, but some grow huge so will need to check them out.
