Some of you may know that I did a journal showing my stages of dividing my rio 180l fish tank into five to house four boys and a sorority of girls too.

Hey peeps!

Needing to move the tanks around a little and wondered how Zippy would fair in a 96 litre cube tank with: cories (he has some pals with him currently so knows gets on with these), lampeyes (havent tried midwater fish with him but my firey Calcifer got on with them to a certain extent) and perhaps galaxy rasbora? (I say perhaps as the guy has messed me about considerably and these may not be entering the tank..

Would love your thoughts, he is a very good boy and has done really well ...

Hello peeps

I recently got some guppies, two females and one male, it has been suggested that the females may already be pregnant. I keep finding conflicting information some say the female always have the gravid spot and this is normal and other sites state it is an indication on how pregnant they are?

Here are some poor piccys!

Oh and for funsies my pretty male

* how many will fully stock a 65L tank?
* plant wise; im guessing the tank should be heavily planted?! i will use my new silk plants
* when introducing them, do i add Tizzy last?

Ok, so the 6 gallon has been up and running for a week. I'll make sure its cycled before I add any fish in, by adding in some "media" from the other tank to the filter.

In another thread I had been talking about tank mates for my betta who resides in my 9 gallon. This is a similar thread because I'm asking what tankmates will do well with a betta in a 6 gallon? Should I add them in together or over a period of weeks.

I don't know if the size of this tank changes ...

I currently have 3 divided betta tanks with spaces for 8 bettas. When I set them up, I was really proud of myself. They looked good, had loads of plants and caves and where all over filtered and heated.

However, since I started keeping bettas in divided tanks I've had no end of problems. One betta gets sick, so I treat or move to hospital tank and do what I need to to get him better. Then he dies, and his tank mates get sick. I've had such a high attrition rate on my boys - never managed ...
