This should be fun...

Post by Lairewen on Fri Aug 14, 2009 10:43 pm

Just snagged a 125l tank on ebay, pre-divided into three! 2 sections are about 35 litres each and the middle is about 55l. It'll be a while before I can find space for it, but I'm thinking a male in each side and some girls in the middle... :D

Yup! And keeping girls will be a new experience too! I'm not going to rush into setting it up though, as there is a chance we'll move in the next few months. Plus I need to work out how to light it... no hood, just a sliding glass top.

Awesome find hon! You can get clip on lights like a spotlight, could have one for each section or on my glass top tank have a fixture that clips on each end of the bulb and lays ontop of the glass itself. Smile

My husbands 4ft has one of those over head lumiere thingies that stands on the perspex lid he made. Also ebay often have lids with lights on there, and over head ones like we've got, you can hang them from the ceiling or they have legs, in fact that's where we got it from for £20!
