Gah! Calcifer the Biter!

Post by lilacamy931 on Sat Aug 29, 2009 11:05 am

Well I had assigned today to do interrogative tank cleaning. Started with Enigma and the loaches, filthy with algae. Discovered the elusive third loach that has hardly any markings compared to the other two lives in the moss ball! I took it out to give it a wash and squeeze and a little head popped out! So instantly transported back in and will not touch from now on lol. Clever bugger as that is where I have started to leave the food and no wonder the ball itself looks like it keeps getting looser.

Anyways that done and dusted went to Calcifers and the lamps. Either he was extremely hungry or mad at me because the next thing I know he is proper biting the palm of my hand! LOL He proceeded to bite and maim me till I had the job done Wink with lots of scolding from me! I have fed him now even though he does not deserve it the little git. I will admit I did prod him gently at one point and told him NO! where he sulked at the other end and then regrouped for the second attempt.

Rude, Reno and Vax are all angels as always littleangel with Reno wrapping like a underwater kitten on my hand

So there you go water changes can be fraught with danger! lolol

You wanna put your hand in a tank with over 100 juvies......that's the weirdest feeling, having that many nibble on your hands at once :lol!:
