Aw, cool! You'll have to let us know how they do! ^^ A silly question, but are those cichlids? (how do you say that word anyways, I always wondered)

yh i will let you know when they breed but they will proberly eat the eggs the first couple of times they breed. there not verry good parents at first but after the first couple they should be fine and look after them.

All the best with breeding them! Are they mouth brooders, or like the terracotta pots, or spray? Or hundred of other ways to lay? Definately piccys if they do! I havent had any spawns guppies or otherwise and find it fascinating Smile

they just spawn inside a cave and then the female stays in the cave with them and the male swims round the tank defending the cave.

Heyy Kinzo i am going to my lfs tomorrow and was ging to sell my 2 young males to them. They told me today that they have some Cockatoo dward chiclids in and i was wondeing if they would be okay in my tank seeing as you no alot about them Smile
My tank:
3ft - 30 gallon
Fish: 6 cory's, 1 rainbow shark, 4 tetras, 2 platies, 4 guppies, 3 dwarf pleco's and a few female bettas.

Would they be okay in there and if so isit best to get a trio?
