I think this aquarium is natural

Post by The young one on Wed Sep 02, 2009 8:07 am

Ello, these are just a few pictures of how my aquarium progressed. The first picture is what the tank looked like to start with, rubbish.

The second picture is after I changed it around abit, I would have loved to keep the amazon sword but it literally covered the top of the water so no light was getting through.

Anyway and the last picture is of my aquarium now, I changed the tank completely, changed from sand to gravel, bought some plants off of Modaz ( they are beautiful) and actually tried to make it look good.

Looks great Joe, you've made some really good changes. Do you have any fish in the second set up?

Yep, I'm got some more limnophilia aquatica to put in the other side and a coconut cave.

It'll look great when you're all finished with it and Star will show up really well against the black sand/gravel thumbup

The aquatica looks wonderful and the tanks looks very nice. I love live plants. Getting quite hooked on plantlets and doing my Evo100 in the shop (thread to follow)

I really like how well the black gravel contrasts the green plants, really makes them pop!
