Heater help please

Heater help please
Due to an impulse purchase, a faulty heater and a kind freecycler, I need to heat my new girl's small tank, but the smallest heater I have is 50watts. The tank is 13 litres (Smaller than I'd like but all I could afford.) I'd then have to put a 100watt heater in the 30 litre tank. Is this safe?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Heater help please
you just need to keep a closer eye on the temps.

just set it at a lower temp than you want the tank.

Re: Heater help please
The most important item is a thermometer
The temperature scales on heaters are notoriously inaccurate. We have heaters that are set to 24 degrees that actually heat to 29!!!

Re: Heater help please
I already have a thermometer.
I've actually been solving the heating issue by sitting the quarantine tub on top of the 125l tank, got it to a perfect 28 degrees lol. Not ideal long term though!

Re: Heater help please
Theres no point of a heater without a thermo! Dont want to fry your fish.
