I think molly fry are pretty sturdy so fingers crossed for you and all the fry mollies and bettas included.

Thanks! all the eggs are scattered all throughout the tank, so I don't think many will get eaten, (their on the bottom with the gravel) and the gravel is white too) so they blend in,

Just to clarify Jim, when you said you moved the male in your original thread you said he was in a tank all of his own....... if you had told us there was a gourami in there we would have been able to tell you in a heartbeat that he would probably be attacked, so just be honest with us and give us all the info you have in future and we'll be able to help you out a lot better, dont want you to become upset due to this, people do get frustrated if their advice doesnt appear to have been taken but by being honest and giving us all the info you can it saves stress for you and confusion for us.
Seeing as your tight on room I would leave the eggs, its likely they will get eaten but it enables you to wait a while until your REALLY ready to have a spawn thats planned. good luck!

Ok! Thanks wilsonnw8! Ya,(he was in a 5 gallon tank all on his own) but remember when I tried to breed my betta's? you said that he might kill the female if not ready, and they weren't, so I put him in my 15 gallon community tank, I did have a thread about it, so I thought you guys knew, sorry! I had no idea that the gourami would attack my betta, Sad he doesn't attack my other fish so that's why I didn't bother telling you guys, I thought it'd be ok,.. :S but apparently not,... anyways, one of the eggs was in the breeding box still, I thought they all fell out but apparently not, anyways, it looks like it's hatching, there's something coming out of it, it looks about this small (.) the dot inside the brackets is what it looks like... is that a baby?

yeah baby bettas are pretty microscopic and need to be fed live food from the off, just hatched baby brine shrimp, walter worms etc as mentioned previously. You'd also need the light on for another day with dad looking after the eggs alone i.e. no other fish around at all. then dad would need to be removed into a seperate tank on his own and the tank with the babies in would have to be "their tank" for a further couple of months before you could transfer them to a grow out. Its a bit of a sticky situation your in!

p.s. the reason gourami's and bettas fight is they are part of the same family so see each other as a threat

Oh, I completely forgot they were both anabantoids! lol
Ya, the babies didn't make it, (not that I know of) but the dad is building another bubblenest in the 20 gallon community tank, and the female still looks interested, she keeps going under the nest, I dunno, I'll just let them do what they want, I'm more into livebearers, less complicated,.. lol

Hiya
I would seriously advise you not to let them attempt spawning again. The reason i say this is because spawning puts both the male and female under a lot of stress. Allowing them to spawn again so soon can be very bad for their health. Females have been known to die after spawning even in the best of conditions. We have also had a male suddenly die after being taken away from the eggs.
Even if you can only put the male in a breeding trap it would help :D

Can i just reiterate what another member has said to you, no one has been complaining to you, but they have been giving you their honest advice :D
