Help Setting Up a Sorority Tank
Hi all,
Just wanted abit of advice on setting up a Sorority tank,
What will i need, same as tropical but more hiding places?
Also how many female Bettas per litres?

Well you need a heavily planted tank, like with my tank i went for tall plants and a heavily planted tank, some cave like ornaments and alot of tall objects. As for females it would depend what litre tank you got so really i dont know about that. Minimum of 6 females i'd say. So really anything from 40l upwards.

Here's a pic of our sorority or coven as I prefered to call it, last year when we first got it set up....obviously all the plants grew in more which helps to break the line of sight.
This tank was 75ltr and at most we had 10 females in there. The bigger the group you can accommodate the better as this helps to spread out any bullying.

yes i also have 10 females like netty but i have mine in a 80l you may of seen pics. I can create you a short video of my tank and fish etc to show you around it and the big plants? Youll also notice what sority behaviour is like with so many females.

ok, so i have decided i am not doing a sorority tank, i will buy a few fabolous, colourful male bettas with the help of tank dividers!
