Filter & Heater Have Been Off All Night!

Post by jasminek on Sun Oct 04, 2009 10:02 am

Last night all through the night the filter and heater was off in alphies tank and the girls tank, hopefully it hasnt had a too bad affect on them but im worried incase it has. The filter would of been off all night, wouldnt that kill off good bacteria off and the fish would of been quite cold all night? My mum must of turned it off, she went out with my dad last night to town for her birthday and she came in late and must of turned them off, but she never has turned the plugs off because she knows i have fish and they need to be on.
Will this affect my fish?

They should be fine Jasmine. I've done the same before when doing water changes and didn't push the plug back in properly. Didn't notice till the next day but all the Bettas in that divided tank were fine and still are thumbup
