what family is a betta splenden/fighter

I'm doing a science fair project and I want to know what family they are in. I've looked on tons of different we sites and tehy had two answers. Osphronemidae, and Anibantidae which one is it?

I mean family as in Kingdom, Phylum Subphylum, Class, Family etc.

They are Anabantidae which refers to the group of fish that have a Labyrinth organ which is a secondary breathing organ.

OK I was just wondering because I saw on a different web site that said tehy were recently changed what family tehy were in.

This shows the order which they come under. Anabantoid refers to a group of fish that have a labyrinth organ eg Betta & Gouramis

Kingdom: Animalia
Phylum: Chordata
Subphylum: Vertebrata
Class: Actinopterygii
Order: Perciformes
Suborder: Anabantoidei
Family: Belontiidae
Genus: Betta
Species: Betta splendens
