Breeding- Vt's, Why dont people like them??
I have read various websites, that when breeding bettas, you shouldn't breed VTs [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] alt="" /> Nobody wants them.
Why is this, are they seen as the typical Betta in a Vase? I personally think they are fab, Lunar is a VT, he was my first betta! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] alt="" />

lovely,
i thought Spikey was a DTVT, when i first brought him from the LFS, but it was just the adverse reaction of being housed with 20 guppies
he looks to be a rosetail now, or thats what ive been suggested. Definetly not a VT, well i wouldnt now ATM, as he had a tiny fight with MR. Oscar, is fins are un-identifiable atm [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

VT's are just as nice as any other splenden, but they are so accessible and cheap at lfs's, they are harder to move on. No one is going to pay the £8 shipping on a VT.
There's a thread on here somewhere about the recent addition of VT breed standards in the IBC.
