2 New Apple Snails

Got these two gorgeous snails from Melly today and they are mahooosive but gorgeous :D

The purple one is in my sorority tank with the evil witches and the yellow is in Van's 40gal.

They look great Netty, i have 8 purple ones and 12 baby yellowsxpink stripe from pip. I'm hoping to have eggs from the purple ones this week as i caught them at it last wednesday! I think apples are great, they are so interesting to watch x

Absolutely love the purple one, didn't know that they came in that colour! lol. Very nice snails. I'm thinking of getting some for my tanks actuallly... hmmm...

When my kids were young we used to have to scrape snail eggs off the side of the tank and keep them in a jam jar on the kitchen window sill and watch them hatch and grow :rofl:

I bet they loved watching that lol I got my son some tadpoles so he could see how they develop into frogs and then they went into his teachers natural pond that she had at home [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
