tri-coloured betta

this may sound stupid :Embarassed: but my lfs are getting in some tri-coloured bettas what are they are they just the name for a betta with 3 diffrent colours or is there somethink fancy about them?

ermmm, i think 3 different colours, but they are in a nice uniform row, me thinks...

Tri coloured is 3 colours whereas Tri band is like a butterfly but with 3 different colours forming bands around the fins.
