What can co-exist??

Post by ReptileLuver729 on Fri Oct 23, 2009 5:12 am

I have my ten gallon split into two sections--had it split into three but only had two bettas. What could I put with each male in their sections?? I know like snails and corydoras, but what else and how many? Thanks for the help as always!

Shrimps or snails are good, as Jasmine said. Also African dwarf frogs, pygmy corys, juleie corys and certain other small ones. With Cory's it is best to have either sand (like play sand) or very small and smooth gravel. Cory's also should be in groups of 4+ Smile

Hi
In my opinion, 5g isn't big enough for corys bearing in mind they are a social fish.
Its going to be hit or miss with anything you add, beit snails, shrimps, frogs etc. Due to space, the betta may not take a liking to any additions.

Yes I knew about the space issues with corys and I am not really looking to get anything just wondering what people have had luck with! Thanks so much! Going to the LFS on Saturday, could get some shrimp and snails. If they don't work I can put them into my turtle tank Smile

Endlers possibly, i've never had any problems with them being in with my bettas and the males can be quite stunning!
