Re: New Betta Tank
Hmmm, haven't had a chance to go to my LPS (my normal LFS doesn't stock much fish equipment) but my Dad says he'll take me on Saturday *thumbs up* There's also the likelyhood I'll come back with another betta, if they have any in stock

Re: New Betta Tank
Picked up the new filter today, set it all up changed it all about and had a generally good clean. The tank is now 2 betta sections and a heater/filter section. Cosmo is acclimatising to his tank (Ha had to be floated in the community while I changed everything) The spray bar isn't quite sorted out yet but we're working on it. Pictures later once Cosmo's settled in and not sulking at me (Y)

tanks looking good. so many people need help learning how to syphon properly without getting fish water in their mouth. I think Im going to ask Tim to help me make an educational video when I need to clean the tanks again, and then see if netty will let me post it. unless we have a good vido somewhere?

I'm getting pretty good at syphoning actually, I've done quite a few water changes by myself now (well, need help with the bigger tanks because I can't carry the super big bucket by myself when it's full of water lol) but I can do the syphon-y bit, takes me a couple of attempts but I have yet to get a mouth full of icky water.

Re: New Betta Tank
I personally would keep it as three sections just because three sections means three bettas and two sections only means two. Hehe oh what an addiction

Re: New Betta Tank
Yeah 3 sections would have been cool, but with the heater and filter tanking up space it just didn't look like enough for the poor little guys
And this way I can look into the options of tank mates :D
