no, i dont have a car until my hubby gets here in 12 days, he lives 255miles away so only get to see him every other weekend...so its too far to walk so i needed to divide a tank!
Yes i could've done but i wouldnt have been able to clip the side binder on that side so wouldnt have been as secure as i want it to be...defo wouldnt have wanted them to get through as my betta would be at the other side of the divide. So really it s worked out better for my betta as now he'll have the whole tank to his self.

you could silicone it to the tank. it should be secure enough with out it. alot of people dont have the clips on there.

Well iv done it now, needed to do it as i get my new male betta tomorrow from pippoodle, really excited bounce
Fits perfectly in the 6 gallon rectangle tank, thankfully! The other side of the divide is the baby mollies which have been nosey to see whats on the other side of the divide,lol!

so which tank is the divide in the CAEs tank or the babies tank?

The CAE didnt really have a tank they've just been moved from pillar to post really...they where in the hexagon tank and now they have been put in the babies tank where the divide is. Sorry to confuse you...i waffle a bit sometimes and confuse people, lol! Shocked

lol it wasnt your fualt i was just getting confussed there the CAEs are and what tank was divided lol

I've decided to not divide it, instead I'm going to make a community tank out of it, maybe with some female bettas.

That sounds like a good idea, im thinking of buying another tank for females. My divided tank was only temporary as i needed to separate the CAE from my baby mollies.
