New Set-up For Alphie!

Post by jasminek on Sun Nov 08, 2009 6:53 pm

Hello, Gave Alphies tank a new look today. The light on the girls tank wasnt much good because it didnt help the plants grow I think the tank needs a bigger light, but when i put it on alphies tank it just lit up every bit of the tank so ive put the live plants out of the girls tank (2) which were dying in his tank now so they can grow.
The tank looks better than it did in my opinion. Alphies still acclimatising now but he looks eager to get in lol!
Think he may be getting old though, lately hes been swimming a little slower, and resting more. Hes had some lovely fin regrowth too.
I've really got attached to him Smile
Heres a picture of the new tank set up,

Filter is brilliant that comes with it. Its a small stingray, perfect for bettas. Its undergravel filter, so is quiet. Smile And is betta safe, harmless.

Cheers :D I haven't had an Undergravel in years lol, I might have to pick one of them up :D It's between that and those penn plax 30l ones (themed as spongebob or whatever but I'll just get rid of all that xD)
