new catfish

new catfish
went to a diffrent lfs today that someone recommended and got a few new catfish. the pics arnt very good because there on my phone.
banjo catfish

then it desided to berry its self a little
you can just see its tail

its head is at the bottom right under the wood you can just see it

and then it complety burried its self

2" male albino bn

and the upside down catfish the pics are terrible they would not stop moving.

and i know the tank looks horrible but i have some wood soaking in the bath and when its done im putting that in and getting ride of all the plastic plants and get some live once. im hopefully going back in a few weeks to get a synodontis petricola becuase there only £3.99 for a 3" one.

which one?
the upside down cats are about 1 1/2"

The banjo in the last lot of pics where it's on the coconut cave. He looks like he has lovely patterning.

I think Van will probably get those other catfish next week sometime. They were really nice ones and don't get too big either.

lol yh they are small there smaller than my other one hes about 2" but they grow really slowly hes grown 1cm in about 6 months. yh i saw some pics of them they look quite nice you have to put more pics on when you get them [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] alt="" />

and that upside down catfish in the last pic is the bigger one of the 2 i got the other ones about 1/2cm smaller but alot more active.

yh they all seem happy i bearly saw the banjo catfish he was steight under tha sand the upside down cats are buzzing around and last time i looked the new bn has atached onto my 4" female bns nose and was getting a lift round the tank lol

there all syill doing good the new bn and my old one are hiding upder some wood together and the upside down catfish just havent stopped they just keep wizzing round the tank. from what i read about banjo catfish i thought i was only going to see them like once a month but ive only seen him burry himself once and the rest of the time he swims around its quite funny to watch he dosnt actually swim he just closes all his fins and tail and used his front fins to pull him along and uses his tail like a snake to push him along.

the albino bn is doing great hes now about 4" and covered in bristles so its defently a male. sorry about the bed pics i never see him hes always under his wood so when i saw him yesterday i thought i would take a few pics

the upside down catfish are now almost fully grown and about 2 1/2" long but they seem to hid alot now i dont really see them. i swaped my cons for another small one its only 1" including tail.
the banjos doing great i see him the most out of all of them and if i have my hand in the tank doing somethink he will swim round my hand.

Really love your bristle nose the pics are good! he looks lovely and nice to have a male they look more impressive with more bristles!

thank. hes still only young but they have really started to grow resently he still has another 2" to grow yet. im hopeing i might get some babies of him and my female brown bn soon aswell.

thanks. i want to get a albino longfin female for him but i cant find any around here. well i can but there 1" long and £15 but i wouldnt be able to sex them that young so would need to buy a few
