Pygmy Cories ;O) Price, how many etc

Post by aly_starh on Tue Nov 24, 2009 1:10 pm

Ok, so just got off the phone from another LFS. They said they will try and get them in for me soon.

A few questions;

1.) Price?
2.) How many are needed so they are not stressed?
3.) Do they only eat Algea Wafers?
4.) Do the breed easily?

Hope someones able to help cheers

1) one lfs i got to has them for £1.75 and the other is £3 each
2) you might be able to get away with 4 but 6 is alot better pygmys more than other corys like to be in groups
3) no they will eat live/frozen/dried food, flake, any left over food that drops the the bottom and peas
4) aslong as you have the right conditions then i think there quite easy but the eggs will be tiny and most of them will get eaten if there in with other fish
