algae??

algae??

does anyone else have this problem??
green algae but this one is very faint
almost like dots but its hard to remove not like
other algae that just wipes away,
its driving me nuts as its not easy to remove
so any idea`s or help would be great
i cant stand dirt (ocd) thing
my algae scraper just goes over it doesnt touch it??? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Not had a problem with that type of algae i'm afraid. The normal things like not having lights on too long and is the tank in direct sunlight come to mind.

I've never had that but my boys tank has a real prolem with hair algae, no matter what i try it always comes back! Sorry i can't be of more help x

ok thanks anyway,
this seems hard like you need a scrubbing brush on it
a sponge type scraper just doesnt touch it
weird not seen this before,
going to try a nail brush on it see how it goes
