Live bloodworm? condtioning food?
i have never given my fish Live Bloodworm. Its always been the pellets.
I just wanted to know, how on earth do you store it? I saw it on Ebay, it comes in a bag full of water. How long does it keep?
I think the frozen ones are different.
~~~~~
Also, whats the best conditioning food. Pellets and bloodworm? Any bloodworm or does it have to be live?. Will frozen do?
How long does the frozen one keep?
Re: Live bloodworm? condtioning food?
i just keep it in a tub in a coldish place. but then it only lasts about 2 days coz my catfish eat alot. i think the frozen foods should be fine live might be better but i think frozen will still work and its alot easyer to give them a few diffrent types. brine shrimp and mosiquto larva will work aswell at my lfs you can get 1 frozen pack with bloodworm, brine shrimp and a few diffrent types of larva. i think frozen foods will last for years if they stay frozen but they might not be as good for the fish as they where when you got them.
Re: Live bloodworm? condtioning food?
I used live and frozen bloodworm, daphnia and brine shrimp. I also gave them extra pellets. Live is definately better for conditioning but obviously it's not the most practical option for everyone, luckily any that i had left over got chucked in the endler tanks.
