7 gallon betta tank

Post by furry_catfish on Sat Jan 16, 2010 4:26 pm

Hi everyone [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] I have a 7 gallon tank that I wan't to put a male betta in,but 7 gallon is enough to make a small comunity tank, right? I was thinking pygmy corys and shrimp? but are there any other fish that I can put in there?

Imo, pygmy cories should be fine. 4-5, as they like being in groups.

Regarding other fish, possibly endlers?

I thought of endlers but I am already getting some and I like a variety, would shell-dwellers work? or do they need special ph requirements?

^^agree with Aly

Pygmy cories and maybe Copper Harlequin Rasboras, but only 4 or 5.

Best to add the others first before the betta. A lot of plants will help too.
