were to buy plants

Post by moony on Tue Jan 26, 2010 9:00 pm

hi, getting a tank i won on ebay this week! ( bargain!) and was wondering were i can buy some cheap plants from. When i had my 4ft i brought like a bulk load of 150 or so off this website, javaplants i believe. Some were good some were not so good. Im looking for java moss, cabomba and some vallis mainly, only thing that seemed to grow well for me! especially the cabomba! Or does any one on here sell there cutting's etc? anyone got any info would be good.
Thanks,
Ben.

The only thing i found withh this is that half of them need percific lighting which you havnt got! im dividing a 2ft tank up into 4 sections and just want some live plants to fill them, something that only needs lighting and maybe a bit of co2 to keep them going. When i had vallis they grew about 30inch's high with lighting and a wee bit of co2.

Virtually all the plants in the pack I got survived well. There was just a couple of red leaved plants which wilted, but then they often do:( The Amazon swords were big and strong thumbup
