Dried Banana Leaves?

Post by lilacamy931 on Fri Jan 29, 2010 6:04 pm

Well I ordered the black water tea bags and these dried banana leaves came instead, he is sending me the item ordered in the post! These weird stalk things do they work the same as indian almond leaf?

All it says on the packet:
reduce PH
Anti Bacteria
Stimulate betta colour
1 leaf per fish as a good guide

Intending to use in with the cories...safe and any guidance?! Lol

Hi
I have never used them myself, but they work in just the same way as IAL [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] 1 leaf per fish is a bit misleading though [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Its more down to size of tank. Anything smaller than say 10 gallons and i would only use half a leaf.
As far as I know, they are safe [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
