please help me with what materials i can have in my tank

i currently have some plastic plants in my tank,, r the bettas ok with these,, also is its safe to use a black homemade perspex divider in a fshtank thankyou Smile

if it's perspex the divider should be fine

plastic plants are ok if they don't have sharp edges... and rough or sharp spots and a betta can tear it's fins on it

real and silk plants are better but there are many broad leaf type plastic ones that work fine...

Best way to be sure is to use a pair of tights over your hand.. slide it along the leaf edges and if it catches then it's not suitable

Hi and welcome Very Happy

The only problem with some, but not all, plastic plants is that they can have rough bits that may snag the bettas fins. Just check them, particularly the tips of them. We have used homemade perspex dividers without a problem thumbup
