Angels
Hello
Was looking into getting an Angel for my 40g tank. Have a few questions though
1) Will an Angel fit in with my stock - 2 x Gourami; 2 x Rainbowfish; 6 x Pearl danois; 5 x Red phantom Tetras; 2 x Peacock gobies; 5 x Corys and 3 x Pygmy catfics.
2) Am i right in thinking young Angels cant be sexed?
3) Will one Angel be happy?
4) I would like 2, but if both were male, would there be issues when mature?
Any thoughts appreciated

Re: Angels
1) i think they should be fine there might be a few little fights betweem them and the gouramis if the spawn.
2)your right they cant be sexed best to get 4+ and wait for 2 to pair if you want a pair.
3) one angel on its own will be fine.
4) if there was to males there would proberly be a few fights and one would be more doninat and bully the other.
i think you could fit a pair in the tanks so if i was you i would get 4 and wait for 2 to pair and get rid of the rest. :]

Re: Angels
Ok thanks for that Kizno
Will keep my eyes open for some pretty ones
Saw some today at P@H of all places, and to be fair they looked healthy and active. They followed your finger and were very alert. The staff member there said the same as you about sexing, so a gold star to Kizno and P@H

Re: Angels
My husband had 6 angels in his 6ft tank and had to get rid of all of them as they were the most spiteful fish he's ever had! They were 1 1/2" when he got them and by the time they were 2 1/2" they became really nasty. He just wanted me to tell you just incase, he said personally he wouldn't advise them being kept in a community tank at all!
