is this possible
i have 2 filters running atm in one tank, one filter is a
fluval 4 the other similar but the make is lac??
the question is can i put all the media from both into
my new filter fx5 then put this in the new tank and add
oscars in??
im thinking it should be cycled with this lot but im
unsure i dont want a mini cycle or kill my fish
would it be best to add one lot of media run for a week
check water para and see or can i do what i originally thought??
thanks for any help here,
getting impatient want it set up [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

yh you can if the media from the first filter is muture just add it to a new filter and tank and it will alredy be cycled. dont leave it for too long with no fish in it though or the bacteria will die.

the same day will be fine. i would add some of the water from the other tank aswell like half new half old water just so its not to much shock having a 100% water change. :]
