Re: stocking....again
Ok i've decided against african cichlids because I would only be able to have a small ammount of cichlids in a 42 gallon tank. And I would perfer to have alot of smaller fish rather then a small ammount of big fish.Do you think i could add anything to this?
2 flying fox
2 keyhole cichlids
3 twig cat fish
1 banjo catfish
2 gobies
3 killies
5 upside down catfish
and maybe 1 red tailed shark
do you think it's to much? im getting the fluval 405 so the filteration will be good.and if it's not to much could i add more?
thanks
chris

Re: stocking....again
you couldhave quite a few african your best to overstock the tank so theres less agression.
but anyway im not that keen on flying foxes i would go for gourami or angels but its up to you but watch out they can be really agressive.
i wouldnt get the rts they can be quire agressive aswell. you can have keyholes, rams, apisto, firemouth or blue acara up to you qwhich one you like more. i would add a ashoal of tetra as rasbora just because it nice to have a shoal of small fish and a few bigger fish.
does this look good

good good i would still personally change the flying foxes just because of how agressive they are. and i would change the keyholes to blue acara or apisto but thats just because i like them more but its up to you.
