5g

Post by kizno1 on Mon Feb 15, 2010 2:21 pm

in the 5g section that i have divided of the 14g that i used to keep a betta in before it died im not sure what to put in there now.ive had a few idears
just getting another betta
or
a pair of wild bettas
or
a dwarf puffer
but the thing that puts me off is only being able to have 1 fish.
or
5 pygmy corys
5 galaxy rasbora
pair of endlers

anyone got any other idears?
or idears on which one to choose?

thanks Very Happy

Not sure 5g would be enough for a pair of wilds? Then again I dont know too much about them Wink

Like the Galaxy rasboras thumbup Or a pair of Peacock Gobies and some Pygmy corys?

wildman told me it was ok for some types before. he said imbellis(sp) would be ok. yh i quite like the rasbora one but it would be expensive the pygmy corys are 1.99 each and the rasbora are £4 each so that £30 for them all. i thought gobies needed bigger tanks?

Just a pair of Gobies would be ok. They only get to 2", and as its a divided section of a bigger tank the params would stay stable. Mine tend to stay in one area of the tank, unless they are hunting snails lol!

I'd go for a nice shoal of little fish though Very Happy Galaxies, Endlers or something like copper harlequins or blue tetras.

I saw that add the other day. Its quite confusing in the way its worded Question

They have described them as "wild types", "plakats" and "wild type colouring". But ultimately they are PK's, so not wild type at all. These type of PK's are the type first bred from wilds to fight, so would not be suitable to house together.
