My betta sorority :-)

Post by aly_starh on Sun Feb 28, 2010 6:16 pm

Yay!!! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Finally got the tank set-up. My 65L Juwel Rekord has now been turned into a female betta sorority tank.

All plants are silk. I thought these might be easier to plant but boy, i was wrong! lol

Its abit crowded with plants, but i suppose thats good??! :|
The females should be here soon. I already have Tizzy, she will be going in too!

Will add piccies later.

Looking nice Aly thumbup If you can, just before you add the news one, maybe some taller plants in the middle just to break the line of sight, which will hopefully reduce any aggression problems Very Happy

I like it. though I would give them a few more pots. different sizes to look artistic and give the girls more hiding spaces and places to claim as their own.

several pots in my betta tanks have been plain terra cotta pots from gardening shops. theyre a little bright orange to begin, with time mellow to a nice rich earthy orange brown. plus they were 99 cents a pot
