New housing for the boys!!!

Well as it's my birthday tomorrow my husband took me out today to find a present. There wasn't anything i particularly wanted so he suggested buying me new tanks to house my boys as he knows how many problems i've had with the divided tank. Went into the local m'head but the cheapest tanks they sell are £35 for a 20 litre but it has no heater included. I suggested checking out p@h as i know they stock the clearseal tanks. On the way he came up with the plan of 6 small tanks on a unit with our 6ft light running across the top of all of them, then running a sump to heat and filter them and a uv sterilizer to reduce the risk of any diseases.

When we got to p@h we ordered 4 tanks which are big enough to divide into 2 so i'm going to get glass dividers made up and silicone them in so effectively they will be 2 seperate tanks in one!

I can't wait to get it all set up, also means i'll have room to house 8 boys!!!!!

Thanks everyone and of course there will be pics!!!! Hopefully the tanks will be in this week, just got to find the uv steriliser then i (well hubby) can start construction!

hmm, just figured out that mothers day is on different dates for the us then the uk. I was really confused for a bit there.

Yeah, I almost checked the calander, but May is mother's day month in the US!
