Yeah convicts are well-known to be brutal with other fish... especially if they are a breeding pair, they will terrorise all fish in the tank as they will claim pretty much all the tank as their breeding territory.

i knew they where territorial but was hoping because there only small i might get away with it but oviously not so i think ill get a pair of keyholes or apisto of some sort.

there nice but a little plain thats why ill look for the apisto first the only problem with apisto is the £14 a pair.

ive found them a good home my mates it going to grow them out in his 20g untill they are big enough to go in his dads 6 foot with a load of other cichlids.

he couldnt take them in the end so i took them to the lfs and got a tiny upside down catfish for them so all good thumbup

i cant belive that female i went to the lfs yesterday and shes layed a load of eggs but there all unfertile because shes being that agressive she wont let the male near enough to fertlize them. lol
