Kizno, i bought a coconut cave today but its still got the outside hair on it, do i need to sand it off or will it be okay just to leave it on?? confused

up to you really i sand it off because it anoys me because after a while they start to fall of and get all over the tank. so i would personnaly or atleast pick the worst off.

Kizno, when I get the caves should I soak them before putting them in the tanks? confused

i normally soak them in boiling water for about a hour just to kill anything that could be onn there

lol yh it would proberly be best to do.the other thing that you can do once you put them in the tank is stick moss onto them they look really nice and moss needs bearly any light to live. ive been meaning to do this for agers but never got round to it.

you can use fishing line to tie it one or use small amounts of super glue to stick on little clumps.

hahaha they really arnt hard to make it only took me 1hr to make all 8 of silverrabbits.
