More missing fish - weird.
I'm hoping this is in the right spot. Sorry, if it isn't!
So in my 9g I have (or had!) 5 rummy nose tetras, 5 corydoras catfish and Smurf the betta. They've been together for ages now & no problems.
The rummy nose have always tended to stay in the mid to bottom area of the tank.
Last night I cleaned the tank (as per normal) and rearranged the plants a little, bit of variety so to speak.
Anyway, I woke up this morning and looked in on them. The rummy nose were flying all over the tank (bottom, middle & top!)....they've always been active wee dudes but they were more active than I've ever seen them. I was thinking "wow, that's what rearranging a "room" will do for ya". Then I looked closer & seen that I had a dead tetra.
Another tetra is missing. I've searched around the tank & checked the filter. No luck. No sign of him at all.
Seems to be the month for fish MIA kizno!
I'm wondering if anyone has any idea why the tetras are so active now and what maybe happened the dead tetra? I checked the water and all parameters are good.
Just a bit weird to me.

What kind of plants do you use? Live or silk? I thought one of my neon tetra feeders was missing, but he had died and was wrapped up in a silk plant.
Also this morning my last neon tetra was dead, he was fine last night, moving around eating good and such and this morning I couldn't find him, he was attached to the filter.
Su is the only feeder left now, he's amazing, he's lived through the deaths of Herby, Shimmer, Shemp, Curly and now Moe. Strong little guppy.

I use silk plants & I've given the tank such a going over. I'll check again later on but I'm stumped.

Like you, I've looked absolutely everywhere kiz. My tank has a hood so there's no way 1 could have got out of the actual tank. V. strange.

Re: More missing fish - weird.
Found him. It was as Sheena said, he was nestled between 2 leaves that overlap slightly. They must not have moved when I was looking around the tank the first time. Sad but at least I know where he is now.
Once these last 3 have gone I'm done with tetras....no luck whatsoever with them.
