Help, confused!

These are pics of Marvel, I am not sure what the black spot is, I didn't notice it before. Anyone know? Should I be worried?

just colouration i used to have one the same but with red fins they just fade and darken when there stressed so nothink to worry about.

K, I apperciate it, he's stress because of the water changes! affraid but I want to keep the amonia down and my cycling is not done. Sad

yh mine used to do that to so theres nothink to worry about. why dont you just take some muture media from another filter and put it in his filter so its alredy cycled.

I don't have any. Is it ok to use some from my LFS in the tank Phinneus was in when I bought him? (they didn't have enough room for all the cups, so a few got to go to tanks.)

yh that should be fine or if you know anyone else with a tank you could ask for a little of them. i would post you some but it would have died by the time it got to alaska lol

computerlaugh I know not only am I in AK, but we live in Juneau and the only way in or out is boat or plane. Mail sucks unless it's overnight!

I think they do it in Canada. Not many Alaska shows are really done in Alaska, cheaper to film in Canada. tantrum

oh its a good program but no chance i would do it drivein 100 tonne trucks across ice that in places was only 1 foot deep dont sound to fun.
