atisons betta pellets

Post by aly_starh on Sat Mar 20, 2010 8:46 pm

Just started my lot on this. They seem happy with it, gobbling them up as fast as they can!

Anyone else use it? Notice any difference between IT and hikari?

I use it & my bettas love it! Though I've noticed that Smurf needs it to "sit" for a little while before he's happy to eat it. He'll gobble it, spit it out, gobble it, spit it out etc. Tex just downs them! Smile

We've always used the Atisons pellets and the Betta Pro for conditioning.

Netty is it true that if you have a betta that likes a softer pellet you can soak the pellets in a little tank water?

The betta pro crushed up very finely is really good for betta babies once they're around 3 - 4 weeks old Haych. You can pick up small mortar and pestles on ebay for around £5. Ideal for lots of hungry little mouths.

Good to know - is it hard to change them over? the boys I get are all fed Hikari pellets and I know they can be stubborn!

Not really, as soon as i ran out of Hikari, i fed them the Attisons.

They took to it like a duck takes to water! Smile lol
