Yer. I think they are going to be Vt's but still pure white ones. I hope.
It has only been this last month that Myself and 2 other betta lovers have been able to talk them into getting HM, dragon. Now they are getting in whites and Dt's.

Dw. Ill show you pic's as soon as I can. I cant wait till I get up in the morning.

When I was on last was about 5.30 in the afternoon. Its now 8.30pm in Aust.
My local fish shop just used to get VT's and Ct's and the females used to turn out to be males. But since a group of betta loves have been asking for different ones they have gotten them.

I can't wait to see the Dt's in real life!!!! And the white HM's.

Sorry but I just cant wait. Have you tried asking them to get them in for you?

Hi
Nice looking Bettas:)

Not a lover of DT's personally due to inherent health issues caused by the shortening of their bodies. Not a good idea to breed DT to DT as this can further these issues.
I'm probably not the best person to advise what to breed with them, as I wouldn't ever breed with DT's lol

Got him!

I walked into the shop about 2 mins before the fish got there. It was was so cool helping to pull out the bettas to see what there was hinding. This little guy was pulled out and I couldnt take my eye off him. To me he is a beautiful little guy. I did'nt get any of the white Hm's as this guy just took my eye too much. Hope you like the photos just got him home.

There so many photos of him becasue every time I look at him he is a different colour.

What a stunner! I have dt plakats, one boy and 3 girls. I bred the boy last year with another dt plakat and had no problems however i could understand having problems with the larger finned dt's. I also had a hm dt but unfortunately i lost him a little while ago.....

hes lovely. what most peopel do when breeding dt to try and avoid the genetics issues is to breed a dt to a nice, non geneticly related single tail. then either the dt is bred back to one of the single tail offspring resulting in dt and single tail offspring that carry the gene. or offspring is bred to offspring resulting in some dts, some gene carrying single tails and some non gene carrying single tails.

you also can breed a dt to a non geneticly related single tail that carrys the dt gene. but getting two non related dt from the same supplier may be very hard.

the second thing I would take into consideration would be the breeder fish's body type. very short bodied with massive fins I wouldnt breed, anythign that looks off or not quite right I wouldnt breed. and the single tail that you breed to needs to be a good body and fin type as well. there no use starting out a line with bad quality and then working back up. if you start with decent conformation you are far better off.
