Itchy Feet....

Itchy Feet....
I always seem to get itchy feet. Always looking to improve tanks and stocking and as discover different fish, move different species as some just dont suit me (hope this doesnt sound too harsh). I started fish keeping with dwarf puffers (basically I am a huge porcupine puffer fan) and one day walked into my first LFS and found you could keep puffers as pets! So started with puffers, went through horrendous upset with one of the dwarfs dying. Moved onto GSPs these were great little guys but being so new to fishkeeping the brackish thing really was a bit much this early on in the game. During this time I dsicovered bettas (and this site - the bestest around) and have owned a fair few bettas (mostly OAPs) I have my beloved Zippy but after Calcfier dying have quickly passed this phase. Cories are my next biggest love to puffs but haivng been in fishkeeping a little while now yearn a pufferfish. The only thing is the right tank. I cant have too many working full time and limited wages, so may need to move and perhaps sell fish
I currently have:
14g - 6 bronze corydoras and 6 black schultzei corydoras. Very good filtration and about 80% (these are only my opinions)
25g - 5 habrosus corydoras, 5 panda corydoras, 10 lampeyes, 8 galaxy rasboras. Adequate filtration, 100% stocked.
42g - 10 gold laser corydoras, 5 caudimaculatus corydoras, 4 glass catfish, 4 guppies, 2 pearl gouramis, 1 bristlenose. Excellent filtration, 75% stocked.
10g - 9 neon tetras quaranteed.
5g - 1 betta.
Spare - 2.5g and 17g.
Im thinking of some freshwater puffers (irrebesco or south american) the former are the most peaceful which could try with cories but might not work, the latter will pick at the cories. So thinking a refit somehow!
Some options I thought of though would appreciate thoughts are as follows:
A pair of irrebescos could go in the 17g and wouldnt need to move around but the community tank as it stands just doesnt work currently (not many fish in sight). So have the 17g with the 10 gold perus and 5 caudimaculatus. this tank currently doesnt have a place to sit, so was thinking on our dining room table infront of our balcony windows (it is sheltered and no direct sunlight). This might be ideal as then I can convert them to sand over pea gravel and control any spawnings that may happen.
The community then would consider rehoming the gouramis and glass (perhaps neons though read these are quick enough) and be left with neons, bristle and puffs (guppies have gone to safer sanctuary).
Sorry to ramble and ramble really appreciate thoughts or something have not thought of!

Yay for puffs
I've seen Irrubescos and they look really cute! They had some in with peacock gobies (that's the colourful ones, right?) and they were just happily zooming around.
I really am a fan of lurkers.. I have my palembang Gilbert and desperately want a Miurus, but they're hard to source in good condition

LOL here's a pic of my Gilly-boy. I adore him
and he was only £15 from MA. Saw one in Wildwoods, fully grown for £35.. bit pricey I thought, especially as he had gill maggots, poor little man.

Have you seen Hairy puffers before?! I saw one in a London shop and he was so cuuute!!! was £50 though... bit out of my price range atm.
My mum has a Mbu called Emilio
next time i'm around there i'll take some pics of him, he's so funny
Do you think you'll buy the irrubescos on sunday? PICS if you do

Haha "just browsing" is my lie to myself when I walk into fish stores.... I do into denial about the amount of fish bags I'm carrying when I leave
Emilio is so funny - he sort of waves at you with his "arms" as he swims from side to side, very cute!
Deffo want pics if you get some new babies
