Iv got some great news...

This morning when i turned the light on in my tank i noticed loadsa little eyes looking out from the plants, finally the black molly babies have been born bounce

seems like shes been pregnant forever! So i had some fishing to do! I caught about 30 new babies, so snapped a picture of them before i put them in the nursery tank:

As you can see they are teeny weeny babies, looks like im going to have my hands full, lol!

All these cute little babies iv got, lol! 36 now, well 37 including my 4 month old daughter called Shelby!
My daughters are very pleased as they are their mollies...i just take care of them Very Happy

I looked in to take a look at the adult mollies and i saw a tiny little fish in there...so i rushed to get my net so it could get added to the nursery tank, lol!

Just an update...my baby black mollies are doing fine and are happily swimming about in the 6 gallon tank...i had to take them out of the breeder box as it was a little cramped! They are much happier now.
Iv noticed that 3 of the black molly babies are white, but 1 of them is white with blue eyes...is this normal or will this little nipper have problems with its sight as it gets older?? Worried as iv become attached to this little guy.

I cant believe my luck these mollies breed worse than rabbits do! I got more molly babies this morning 5 orange babies this time but i could see that a lot of babies must have been attack as there where a few bodies on the tank bottom.

The babies got big pretty quick they will be a month old on sunday Shocked

cant believe how fast they've grown! Here's a few pics of them so you can see how much they've grown...

All iv fed them on is tropical fish flakes and the odd algae wafer as a treat they love the wafers the most! Very Happy

They are very cute didnt think they'd all survive either! There colours are very nice too, some are black and orange, orange or black and white...dont know how this happened unless its in their genes! scratch

I may have to do taht myself in a few months or less as we have 4 fem guppies and 2 male! I already asked and once they get a decent size my lfs will adopt them, as I am not looking to sell. Very Happy

I think il see if my lfs will adopt my babies got far too many even for my big tank, iv got a white baby i might keep that one he/she is lovely (cant see what sex it is yet)

Just make sure you are happy with the way they take care of their other stock, that way you know they are ok. My lfs are pretty good to their stock and have knowledgable people running the place. Very Happy
