No tank anymore
Hi all, not been on here for ages! Been so busy with school work and my other pets.
I have 4 female bettas left and they've been on for months, and i still have Alphie.
Yesterday I did a big clean out, fully emptied the 80L and went to refill it, i put a bucket of hot water in a crack went from one end of the tank straight to the other end, before i knew it water was everywhere coming out of this huge crack in the glass.
So I had to empty the water before it emptied itself, then chuck away the tank.
I'm gutted and still am, the 4 bettas are in a 20l tank and alphie's in a bowl/vase for now.
It's chaos and I'm thinking of selling the 4 females, and just keeping alphie in a 20l tank.
Because I'm not allowed mroe than one tank big tank in my room now, my dad wasn't happy about the water incident and said that's why he didn't want me having tanks in my room.
So it's just going to be my 125l goldfish tank and alphies tank.
Just thought i'd give you the update, and if anyone knows what I could do with the females, let me know please. I'm pretty certain the fish wouldn't survive travelling as their in a bad way, after being in the tubs so long yesterday their tails seem to be rotting a bit, and they just seem drained.
Alphies doing great though.
Hope everyones alright

Arrgghh....yep hot water and glass dont mix well
You could maybe ask your fish shop to take the females. They probably wouldn't give you much for them, if anything at all though. Give them a call and tell them whats happened.
