ive been looking at grass shrimp and cherry shrimp and i want to be put them in a 40ltr tank, do you know how many ill be able to have in my tank, also does anybody knowwhat they eat, thanks

i would start of with a small group and let them breed. they breed like crazy. i would start with 8 of each and let them breed. they will eat algea wafers, cichlid and catfish pellets, peas and and fish food that falls to the floor.

8 of each so 16 should be fine to start and then keep some of the babies. but you will need to find somewhere to get rid of some of the babies or you will get over run.

Also they need a fully cycled filter/tank as shrimp are sensitive to water quality Smile
