Went into the LFS to buy betta food and saw a baby blue finned cambodian CT, sooooo cute and sooo pretty but I resisted! didnt think I would be able to but I have no room with so many babies and Im not planning a CT line I literally had to tell myself to leave lol Whistling

I"m still looking for one more male. But haven't found anything special yet. Was frustrated with the lfs I was in last night as they were advertising 'show bettas' and they were just nicely washed VTs. Grr.

i went to pet shop/garden centre today.

i managed to avoid looking any of the fish in the eye incase they said 'take me home!'

ended up buying a lil bunny instead! lol
will be collecting her on tuesday as she'd only arrived in the store this morning

Sheena I have no idea how I did it, infact I think I only managed it because there were no store staff around otherwise I would have just gone for it!

she's a tiny dwarf lop, creamy tan coloured

looks a bundle of fun, very curious and a bit daft... she came flying out of the tube in the enclousure.... full nose dive into the other rabbit with her

she'd tripped over her ears! Very Happy

Nope! transhipping from Thailand is still mega expensive. The guy charges $12/fish and then $25 shipping. (and he only lives a 3 hour drive from me). And most US breeders will only ship to the US. The one I've found who will ship elsewhere charges $35 to ship...so that's like a $55 betta. Sad

There is ONE breeder here and I've bought Frost and Juliette from her. But she has pastels and cellos mostly. I guess I'll have to keep checking the lfs as they get thailand bettas there every so often.

You must have strong will power as i always want to look at the bettas at the lfs.
