Suitable or not??

Been looking for a couple of terracotta pots for my female sorority and saw this terracotta pipe dont know if it's suitable for the female bettas, but i would like someones opinion as i do like it:

I would say no to that. They could quite easily get stuck when they poke their heads through those holes. They some how manage to get stuck in the strangest places.

I kinda thought that but just thought id ask...before i went ahead and bought it...all the terracotta pots iv seen have had holes in the bottom would they be ok or do i need some pots without the hole??

You can use the pots and just use aquarium sealant to stick a button over the hole.

I had to pull one of my boys out of a hole in a coconut cave a couple of days ago. They are such little nosey buggers at times LOL Luckily I spotted him cos he would have drowned if I didn't see him.

The small terracotta pots are the best. I get some give them a good scrub, dry them and then stick a button over the holes with aqua sealant works quite well!

Yeah I agree with Netty i wouldnt risk that, bettas do get stuck in holes quite often your better off going for a cave of some sort Smile
