Ok thants a good size
if you want you could add some shrimp or pygmy corys to the tank. ember tetra, galaxy rasbora and endlers can be fine but some bettas take a disliking to them

If you do get corys make sure there one of the pygmy types or they will get to big. You could have 6 in a 5g tank.

I love panda corys they're soo cute!! One of my LFS has tiny ones for $2.99, I'm going to pick them up once I'm sure my tank is stabilized.

I love the panda corys too, but they are quite hard to get in my area and when my lfs do get them they are snapped up quite quickly. Hope you get some soon.
