Dwarf Puffer Fish

Dwarf Puffer Fish
Ok, so my mam has a tank and in it she keeps swordtails and rummy nose tetras with a few corydoras catfish. Its a massive tank (I forget how many gallons but its BIG!) She's always kept it understocked, just in case she ever happens to see something that takes her interest.
Which leads us to this week. She went into the LPS to get some dog food and couldn't help looking at their fish. She seen 2 dwarf puffer fish and absolutely fell in love. She explained to the employee that she had a tank at home, explained what was in the tank, temp' etc. and then asked if the dwarf puffers would be ok in there. She was told "yeah, absolutely, they're community fish".
She gets home, puts them in the tank, wakes up the following morning and the puffers have annihilated her fish. They're all missing chunks of fin etc. She put them into a floating tank and called the LPS. They said they wouldn't take them back and still maintain they're a community fish.
Luckily, a family friend Stevie keeps puffers and he's coming to collect them this afternoon. Mum is gutted because she had fallen in love with them and she's also gutted because her other fish have always been so healthy and happy.
I'm going to email the LPS to complain, a lot. I'm fed up going through the numpties in store. What I'm asking of you guys is if you have any information/care sheets about Dwarf Puffers that you would recommend me to use/include in my email?
Many thanks in advance.

Re: Dwarf Puffer Fish
I haven't kept them, but know they can be vicious little beggars, despite their cute faces.
Go to dwarfpuffers.com, has a lot of good info on there. LFS/LPS staff are generally idiots and I really think they should be made to display care cards on their tanks, i'm sorry your mum lost her fishies
