Terra Cotta Pots

Post by 2tall on Thu Jun 03, 2010 7:22 pm

I wish to add pots to my tanks. Should I boil them or clean with a bacterial soap?

No dont clean with soap! Scrub with clean water and a brush, you could soak them as well if you want. If they are flower pots dont forget to stick a button over the drainage hole (use aquatic glue).

I just leave them in boiling water in scrub them in water. you can use bleach if you make a mix of 1 part bleach to 16 parts water or something along them lines but i wouldnt personally do it.
