Betta Bug!

Post by Nataliey on Mon Jun 28, 2010 10:22 am

Since iv been interested in bettas, my 8 year old daughter Bethany, has become very interested by the in's and out's of bettas and she asked me this morning about tail types and how to tell the difference between them.

Thanks to this forum iv been able to explain to her how it works and how to tell the difference...i think shes caught the betta bug at the young age of 8!!

Iv been looking at some female turquoise/pastel CT PK bettas on ebay and im arranging with the seller to go pick them up at the weekend. My daughter is very keen to see the breeders bettas and iv told her if one catches her eye while we are there il get her 1, as Angel was her fish not mine & as you all know sadly died of dropsy at the weekend.

So thanks for all the educational information iv learned from here it helps as i knew the basics before joining here. cheers

My partner in crime is looking forward to saturday as i bought the 3 turquoise CT PK gene females, going to pick them up from Halifax which is about an hours drive from where i live. The breeder said we can pick out what we want, he also has red/blue CT PK gene females...so we'll see what she picks out!
