FB likes em all!

Post by 2tall on Wed Jun 30, 2010 11:17 pm

I've only had a couple of community tanks over the last 3 decades. I've had friends that had tiger oscars, jack dempseys, and the such. I had afriend that had several mated pairs of Discus (one of my favorites!). Had a major power outage that lasted a few days and he lost them alll!

If you can get a 50g
I would go for a stocking like
pair of blue acara
8 corys
4 pictus
pair of bristlenoses or whiptails
1 festivum or angelfish
10 rainbowfish
That looks a good stock to me. There more cichlids and catfish and most get to about 6" so yo might prefer smaller more peacfull fish but its up to you and what you like. That is the stocking i would go for though.

If had the money! Remember I'm the pauper in Land of Opportunity!
I only recognize about half of your list. I'll certainly look around the net and learn. You're eons ahead of me Kizno. What, were you six when you started keeping fish?

Well you sure seemed quick to pick up on it or you spent your time doing your
research. I do plan on looking around with a minimal amount of research! I'm
attending school in the fall so I'll get a small grant. So I'll be strapped closer to home.

There are splendid deals available. I'm so poor I can't even pay attention! It wasn't very prudent of me , but I fired my boss last November. He just wasn't
working out!
