Do i get some or not!

Il been looking into getting shrimps for my 100 litre sorority as i dont want any other type of fish in there but the question is what is the best type of shrimp to get? confused scratch

Amano shrimp would be best there not that colour fully but anything brighter like cherry shrimp might get eaten and some of the bigger ones will nip fins. If you dont want other fish how about african dwarf frogs? there fully aquatic and will take anything that falls to the bottom but they do need extra pellets an live/frozen foods

Looked into that already wouldve got some but none of my lfs stock them would have to go out of town and not always got transport to go. I think il stick to the shrimp idea. Very Happy

Change of plan il be getting some shrimp for my divided tank, iv seen some on ebay i think it was 30 for £20 free p+p next day delivery b4 1pm...is that a good deal? as my lfs was selling them 3 for £6 and i need about 27 for my big tank and various smaller tanks.

Looks a good deal to me. My lfs sell them for £2.49 each so that works out alot cheaper.

He says he puts 5 extra shrimp in the bag incase of losing any in the post.

Sounds fair enough. If you can find places for them all i would go for it. But remember they breed like crazy so you will end up with loads in a few months but they dont make much waste so its shouldnt be to much of a problem aslong as you can find somewhere to get rid of them. Plus the babies are free live foods for bettas.
